We are not owned by a big conglomerate or corporation- in fact, it's quite the opposite. Our beginnings in the senior housing industry go back nearly 25 years, when Dr. Larry and Nancy Bunn became involved in the development and management of their first retirement and assisted living complex, the Olympics West Retirement Inn, in the Olympia-area. Over the years they have been personally involved in the operation of residences spanning a continuum- from independent retirement living, to assisted living, to nursing homes and Alzheimer's care. Today, their energies are devoted to The Weatherly Inn in Tacoma and The Weatherly Inn at Lake Meridian- the two residences they locally own and manage. And, it's become a family affair. Over the past several years, all of their children have found themselves involved... from development, construction and management.

Larry and Nancy are proud of the hands-on approach that sets The Weatherly Inn apart from other senior communities. From concept design and development to hand-picking the perfect interiors, the Bunn family has been personally involved since day one. From the moment you step inside, you will see it is a true labor of love that made The Weatherly Inn a reality.
